Update: Looks like these packages actually contain two tickets, that would be double the value per point and make it significantly more interesting.
Hilton points can be used on Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. The pricing seems to vary a lot by the ticket. For example:
- Music Midtown 2-Day VIP Festival Experience: $650 or 140,000 points (0.464¢)
- Music Midtown General Admission 2-Day: $145 or 70,000 points (0.207¢)
Obviously 0.2¢ is no good, but closer to 0.5¢ is significantly better. Might be worth a look if you’re planning on going to any concerts.
Reminder: It’s not 0.464 cpp value if you wouldn’t have paid $650.
I’d peg this at 0.2 cpp value in both cases.
Can’t edit so … in light of the update, it’s 0.4 cpp. Not bad for Hilton, I average 0.5 being stingy and most are in the 0.3 – 0.35 range.
The description on some of these packages says that you get 2 tickets, so wouldn’t that mean the Music Midtown 2-day VIP is actually $1300 value for 140k points? That would be almost 1cpp
Is this different than info here at TicketMaster?

It says 0.2 cpp standard rate, so nearly everyone will prefer to keep as hilton.
Yeah – this headline is just misleading. There are a very small number of package for a very small number of events at package prices. It’s not about using points at Ticketmaster – you can do that at 0.2 per point which is horrible.
Looks like each package includes two tickets, so double the CPP
