HolidayCheck.com is a website that allows you to earn airline miles (Lufthansa, air berlin, Air Baltic & Etihad, American Airlines) for writing hotel reviews. They do require proof that you stayed at a specific property before they award you the miles (this isn’t always required, but it often is).
The Offer
- Normally you’ll earn 150 Etihad miles per hotel review, but you’ll earn 200 miles per review until May 25th, 2015.
The Fine Print
- Valid until May 25th, 2015
- Limit of 10 hotel reviews per month
Our Verdict
200 Etihad miles isn’t going to get you a free flight any time soon, but if you’re a bit short on an award flight or have some time to kill whilst in transit, it’s not a terrible use of your time (assuming you need the miles). You can also earn miles in the following programs (these are the standard rates):
- American AAdvantage: 70 miles per review
- Lufthansa Miles & More: 100 miles per review
- Airberlin Topbonus: 150 miles per review
- Airbaltic PINS: 150 miles per review
You can also earn up to 200 miles per hotel review on the Barclacyard Travel Community (who are also holding a 10,000 point competition at the moment).
