I picked up a couple of cards yesterday. I’ll stop by the store again today and verify.
According to store manager, deal was only good for 11/24. Not sure why web site said 11/24-11/26.
Very YMMV. Had big success at one location and straight up shut down at another from an angry red haired guy. Lesson learned: Don’t MS at night.

I was able to 10 amex gc with my Sears citi credit card . The manager had to step in for approval . Just asked for id and scanned all the cards, in a single transaction with 10 hyvee gcs all together .
So just to clarify – you can use a credit card to pay for the GC? There will be a $5.95 fee to purchase the cards with a credit card? And do you need to call AMEX to activate the cards?
Hy-Vee clerk warned me that AMEX GC needed a phone call to activate them. She reported getting one and it being rejected until she made the phone call. Also, AMEX GC appears to be enforcing a one hour from time of purchase before it can be spent.
When I telephoned in, there was only a balance check as an option. No option on the automated phone call to activate.
I was at HyVee earlier today and this deal was announced over the intercom system. Extra confirmation on the new graphic you put up.

Hmmmm… thinking about some Kohl’s gift cards to combine with the rebates deal. 15% back with the gift card + 6% Amex. woukd be sacricing chase freedom 5% and probably any portal rewards. Thoughts?

By the way, I just got a coupon in my mail box: Spend 100 dollars or 200 dollars and get 10 dollars and 20 dollars HyVee gift cards, respectively. But this promotion is of little use as gift card purchasing is excluded.
Hi everyone, where did you get this coupon? I really could not find it anywhere. Last time, when I went HyVee to buy a gift card for the promotion, the manager specifically required to see the promotion in order to provide me the 10 dollar gift card. At that time, the promotion is available on their webpage and I was able to show the manager it. Then I successfully got the 10 gift card. This time since I could not show the coupon I am afraid that they will not give me the 10 HyVee gift card.
