Our Verdict

We saw the same deal last year, but for only the Arizona property. Points bookings also entitle you to a $175 resort credit per person per day and you get unlimited meals and snacks. Keep in mind that you do need to pay extra for a second person, the award chart is as follows:

After rebate you’d be paying 22,500 points per night for one person or 32,500 for two people. Points + cash bookings don’t seem to be good value at all. From what I’ve read from people that have done this deal in the past, they had an awesome time and it was worth the points. Personally I’m not a fan of this type of all inclusive vacation (although I fully understand this isn’t your standard sort of all inclusive at all), but as I get a bit older I’m starting to understand the appeal a bit more. Could definitely be a good deal for some people, although I’d never consider the full price.

Thank you! Essentially you can get 2 nights for 2 with $1200 in credits for 65,000 points and $250 cash (if use the $500 Hyatt card promo for $250). Had a good experience last time at the Arizona Miraval on chase 2 free night signup bonus, and will now check out the Austin property.

How do you get the $1200 in credits? Isn’t it $175 per person per night, so $700 for a 2 night stay for a couple?

Targeted offer on the Hyatt card to spend $500 at Miraval, get $250 back. So out of pocket cost will be $250 for the $500 and then the 65,000 points to get the other $700.

These stays are not showing up on the standard Hyatt website. Doesn’t appear to be any way to book online using points. How do you book these with points?

I had to call last year to book with Arizona with this promotion and my free nights and I’m guessing it is still this way. The point value is different for single and double occupancy. Also I’m guessing they want to exclusively tell you about the stay (transportation, booking activities, etc).

This is usually the case with any all-inclusive as well. You have to call in to book.

According to the Arizona website, they will be doing work most of the summer: https://www.miravalarizona.com/property-enhancements/

seems enticing actually, especially with $350 in resort credit each day. Hell, even staying one night you could get in a yoga class, two massages, meals, and a nice room for $20 and 32,500 points.
