Hyatt Partners With Lindblad Expeditions

Hyatt has launched a new partnership with Lindblad expeditions. Hyatt members will receive the following benefits:

  • Earn 5 Base Points per eligible $1 USD spent, plus standard elite member bonuses
  • Nights count toward elite tier status
  • Redeem points for expeditions
  • Receive a $250 USD onboard credit per reservation
  • Ability to purchase specially-curated Lindblad Expedition experiences through FIND

Lindblad runs 300 trips per year and the ships hold between 28 and 148 guests per trip. Trips focus on unique destinations such as Antarctica and Arctic & Russian Far East. The trips are extremely expensive though. You also need to book through Hyatt to get the above benefits, it will probably make more sense to book through a different channel as I suspect it’ll be possible to get a less expensive trip that way.

You can actually also redeem your Hyatt points for 1.6 cpp for these expeditions, so these expeditions start at around 500,000 Hyatt points

They auctioned off a 2 person 19 day cruise to the Antarctic through the Hyatt FIND program a few weeks ago.

Typically runs $20k per person.

I think it went for about 600k hyatt points. Hopefully they keep bringing those type of deals around.
