Ibotta: Presidents Day Deals (E.g $3 For Completing Two Online Offers & More)

The Offer

  • Ibotta is offering some deals for presidents day. These usually vary by account but some I’ve seen:
    • Complete two online offers and get $3-$5
    • 10% back at select merchants

The Fine Print

  • Deals either valid until 2/24 or 2/18

Our Verdict

The online offer deals are really the only ones worth completing, it’s sometimes possible to complete them without spending anything (e.g by buying a free Groupon deal).

Next time Ibotta offers the mobile shopping bonus go through their portal to Walmart.com and choose from a variety of inexpensive items to pick up in the store. You’ll actually buy something you want and easily qualify for the bonus.

Interesting.. looks like they are not enforcing the $1 minimum.

But I can’t find a free item. Please give us a pointer or two. The Shell deal doesn’t seem to be around anymore.

Also FYI, at one point last year (or maybe the year before) Ibotta clawed back bonuses that were earned with $0 Groupon purchases.

I did complete one mobile offer with ebay $5 off code. Contemplating about second offer. iBotta used to be good before – where we can rent movies through amazon prime video using rewards, and that used to count as one offer.

I liked these a lot better when there was no minimum purchase requirement. I think ebay is the best deal since there is no waiting period for the offer to clear.

The fine print on mine excludes itunes and uber and states that you must spend a minimum of $1 in each transaction.
