You have to spend money in the past year (like Starbucks) in order to get the deal. Also, as the post was updated to mention, your profile needs to be updated to have a birthdate in June

Just received this in the mail. Same barcode. P2 also has a bday this month and her own ikea family account, so she bring up these codes on her phone at checkout for use or do they need to be printed out?

Yea, we ended up trying it this past weekend and they took it. They just scan P2 phone and didn’t ask for an ID. I also used my coupon that came in the mail on a separate transaction and they let me keep it after they scanned it so I just gave it to another customer to use.

IKEA out here is pretty far away from the city center, typically has unpleasant parking, and takes a half day adventure. It’s sort of fun, but not even once a year. $10 to visit? no thanks.

Do we print this out, or do we log into ikea.com to print our own?

Can confirm this is the same code for birthday. It used to be $15 but now $10 this year. Be prepared to show ID and make a family account with a June birthday. This is all YMMV depending on cashier.
