Increased Chase Pre-Qualified Offers (30k Freedom & 60k CSP With Annual Fee Waived)

The Offers

  • Chase is showing some increased sign up bonuses when you check for pre-qualified offers. The offers are as follows:
    • Chase Sapphire Preferred: 60,000 points after $4,000 in spend within the first three months. Annual fee is waived the first year.
    • Chase Freedom: $300 cash back after $500 in spend within the first three months.

Our Verdict

Reader ManusBaldSpot had the regular sign up bonuses showing under ‘your offers’ when clicking ‘See your credit score’ the above offers showed up. As far as I know these do not bypass the 5/24 rule unfortunately. There are also the same offers available in branch, but these are typically only offered to Chase Private Client customers. Public sign up bonuses on the CSP is currently 60,000 points but without the $95 annual fee waived. Bonus on the Freedom is $150.

Can you transfer the $300 Freedom sign up bonus to CSR in ultimate rewards? Or can it only be redeemed as cash back?

CSP 60k shows up as a normal offer now.

With annual fee waived? 60k with fee applied first year has been around for some time.

Sure, just wasn’t the normal offer 50k+no AF before?

I’m unclear how clicking the ‘See your credit score’ link changed the offer as I don’t see offers on that page. Did MBS go back to the ‘Your offers’ screen to see the change?

On the creditscore page (credit journey) it shows prequalified offers to me by default. I assume that may be different for some than when going through the normal preapproval link.

For me it is the exactly same – sadly

When I check for the pre-qualified offers, I get the following:

“We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time. This may be because you have opted out of “pre-screened” offers from Chase and other companies or you have recently responded to another offer from Chase”.

Don’t remember opting out of offers or responding to another offer so any idea what I can do to get the offers to show up? Nothing shows for me in my Chase online account either.

I’ve had that message as well. Don’t worry. It’s meaningless. YMMV, but in my case the pre-qualified offers come and go every week or so.

Do you have a screenshot of the CF offer for bonus matching?

Does using a screenshot to match to an offer you weren’t targeted for actually work well with Chase, or is this highly YMMV and only for when there’s no harm trying?

I don’t have the targeted offers myself and would only be inclined to apply for a new card if there’s a high chance of getting matched to the higher bonus offer.

Are there any restrictions in getting another bonus and Freedom card if you still have one from 4 years ago?

Bonuses reset eligibility after 2 years of getting the SUB. PC your Freedom card to Freedom Unlimited then apply.

If you got the CSP today, don’t miss out on double-dipping the CSR! It’ll be your only shot at getting the bonus in the next 24 months.

Does that work? I thought you can only get one Sapphire bonus at a time

If you can get approved for both in one day, you can get both (and both bonuses) – at least that’s what recent data points say.

Same here, although the public credit cards page says 60k with annual fee. I checked prequalified offers before this article came out, so they may have cached that.
