JetBlue To Add Companion Passes For Mosaic Members In 2021

JetBlue has announced a number of enhancements to top tier elite status Mosaic for 2021. The biggest improvement is the introduction of a companion pass. The full list of changes are as follows:

  • Companion pass. From January 1 – May 20, 2021 Mosaics will be able to bring a companion with them for free. There is no need to assign a companion so it can be a different person each flight. Original ticket and companion need to be booked at the same time and you still need to pay taxes & fees. Similar to the Southwest companion pass.
  • Complimentary Even More Space seat. Mosaic members can request an ‘Even More Space’ seat at the airport (same day of flight). Requests honored in order received.

The requirements for earning Mosaic have been reduced by 50% for 2021 as well:

  • 7,500 Mosaic Qualifying points (vs. the usual 15,000 points)
  • 6,000 Mosaic Qualifying points + 15 segments (vs. the usual 12,000 points and 30 segments)
