[Expired] Kmart: Purchase $30+ Sitewide & Get $30 Back In SYWR Points

This deal has expired, view more Kmart deals here.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Kmart is offering $30 back in Shop Your Way Rewards points when you spend $30 or more site wide. Points are given in three chunks, $10 after purchase and then another $10 on 6/10 and another $10 on 6/17

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid 6/3/18 – 6/9/18.
  • Maximum $30 CashBack in points per Member.
  • Initial $10 in points awarded to member account immediately after purchase.
  • $10 in points will then be awarded to the Members accounts on 6/10/18 and 6/17/18

Our Verdict

The points getting given on three different dates kind of kills the deal for me, but might be useful if you have other points from other promotions.

Well now, this just got too complicated. Made a small order for $31, with the $30 back in points promo. But did not receive any “immediate” $10 in points for use, perhaps as this is for an item to be shipped. Instead, on the receipt, I see this verbiage:

“You earned $30.31 in points(30312 points) on this order.
Your earned points will be available after your order has been delivered or picked up.see points details”

So never mind the terms of the promotion, I’m to just trust (never) them to sort this out …again…….. $30 worth of points all at once would be grand (instead of 3 chunks), but really do not like this kind of uncertainty. (have a hunch I’m going to get first $10 of points after they’ve already expired) Anybody else been through this already?

If using these points in store it’s an okay deal if you stack with coupons. Unfortunately, both of my local Kmart’s have recently closed down.

Offers in general are getting more complicated and harder to use. The latest STARBUCKS game massacres the fun it used to be to participate. And now SYWR awaits customers angrily calling after forfeiting points they’ve earned by overlooking expiry dates. Save your $30.

Agreed, even the SYWR seemed to be devalued as well by incredibly shrinking availability of third party goods on Sears website- items that were once available and still available from other stores, are listed as OOS and not available at a store within 250 miles. Had lists that I used to use my SYWR points on.

They closed all but one K-Mart in Portland metro (no great loss- only real shopped them for mega deals).

Yeah it does seem they are making us jump thru more hoops. A lot of deals aren’t worth the time investment requirement.

The current BofA Biz account $500 ($300 for acct + $200 for biz-CC or CC payment processing) has been a HUGE time suck and a huge PITA.

When do these $10×3 expire?

7 days for each, so they’re gone by the time you get the next batch a week later.

Agree that the chunks make the deal useless. Get $10 credits all the time. If they has done a true 100% back, then this might have been usefull on a larger item.
