[Expired] Kroger: 10% Off Your Next Purchase (Fry’s, Fred Meyer & Smith’s)

Deal has expired and is no longer being offered.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Kroger is offering 10% off your next purchase. Seems to also work at Fry’s, Fred Meyer, Smith’s and other Kroger brands

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 02/24/19
  • Limit of one coupon per household.
  • Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.
  • Specially marked items, such as Clearance or Manager’s Specials may not be eligible for Digital Coupons.

Our Verdict

We’ve seen this deal before, last time it didn’t work on gift cards and I suspect it won’t work on gift cards this time either.

Would be a swell of a deal if gift cards are included 😜🤪

No GCs when the exact same offer happened last summer.

If you read through the Slickdeals post it unfortunately appears that gift cards are not discounted.

How does the cashier use the coupon? I don’t see any redemption code for them to type in.

I just added it to my Kroger card. so assuming as soon as I type in my rewards card/scan it, it should auto apply. shows no T&Cs in the Kroger app to rule out anything specifically.

Sign into your account and load it to your card. AFAIK that’s always the only way to use these.

I may be going to Kroger today, I’ll try to see what ends up happening with gift cards and report back on results.

Just got back from shopping, coupon works fine shows up as eCpn PercentOff. Also, my son works there, and as such gets an additional 10% off Kroger brands, but this weekend it’s 15% for employees.

Thank you. Even without any gift cards the 10% discount was still valuable on our weekend shopping trip as it stacked nicely with this week’s sale items.

Thanks! Seems to work at Ralph’s too but you have to go through the link above.

Fascinating the grocery wars….. Just yesterday, I double-dipped 20% off on-line coupons at Martin’s (e.g. Giant/S&S) … in the form of $12 off $60 (plus another 20% discounts each on meat & produce) Will load this Kroger deal too…. yet as before, Aldi continues to eat all competitor lunches. (or so it seems to me)

Agreed! Even with discounts Aldi still blows the competition away. We do however, end up going to Kroger to get whatever leftovers we couldn’t find at Aldi. This digital coupon will come in handy.

How do I load it on my card?

You would have clicked the “direct link to offer” in the post, if you had gotten to it earlier.

i just tried today, this 10% coupon does not work on gift card, however it works on the fees $5.95 associated with the visa card(or master gift card).

Besides gift cards, do we know if there is anything else it doesn’t work on? I was thinking wine specifically.

Alcohol is usually excluded from stuff like this, as is GCs, tobacco, and prescriptions. The e-coupon doesn’t actually display any of that in the fine print though, only clearance.

great news… this coupon is good for multiple uses… just did grocery pick up and it’s still on my card. I’m going inside store tomorrow and see if it’s good on gift cards.
