The Fine Print
- Points earned in August will be valid through September.
- Usually, every 1000 fuel points will get you a discount of $1 per gallon with a 35-gallon limit, a max value of $35 per 1000-points, though these details do vary by store and region.

Our Verdict

Interesting indeed. Yet perhaps not so unusual. This year in particular, as Kroger has been feeling the competitive heat from the rise of Aldi, Lydl, and Wmt, these 4x any gift cards promos have several times extended for two weeks. + For examples, from your own fact filled archives:
