Check your Kroger stores coupons for the following offers:
- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on Visa and Mastercard $100, $50, or $25 fixed-value gift cards. (Does not work on variable-load Visa/MC gift cards.)
- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on participating third party gift cards.
Typically, gift cards earn 2x, and occasionally they’ll put out offers like these to bump it up to 4x. You should see these coupons for all Kroger-family brands. Deal usually becomes available at Harris Teeter as well in roughly the same time period.
Our Verdict
This works on all third party gift cards and fixed value Visa/Mastercard. Remember to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

I received a $4 off gift card coupon, tested on a 500 Visa card, worked great even no fuel point for variable card.
Be warned that I bought a bogus $100 VISA GC at one of their stores about 10 days ago (lured in by a $4 off digital plus the 4X). Tried to register it online immediately after purchase but got an error message. Called the number on the back and was told the card needed to be replaced. Still haven’t received the new one. The packaging was pristine, no sign of any tampering whatsoever. But later I noticed smudges on the card, etc. which the cashier in the store never spotted since all she does is pull the tear strip on the back and scan.
