Our Verdict
I always loved REI’s decision to pay employees not to work on Black Friday and to instead enjoy it outside. I love saving money and deals, but Black Friday kind of irritates me as for a lot of people it’s a good chance to spend with family (yes I realize how ridiculous saying this is with all of our coverage of Black Friday). If you’re a bit over Black Friday then this could be a good chance to go visit a park instead.
