This still counts as booking directly with Marriott, so you’ll still earn Marriott points and elite night/stay credits as well as having any status recognized. Recently Marriott has been offering increased rates at different portals on a frequent basis. Most offers are for 10/15% back, so this is a better deal for some depending on how you value United miles.

How does this work, practically speaking? Do I need to make a pre-paid reservation that actually processes my card at the time of reservation? Much of the time, the hotel will run the credit card at a later date. In that event, how will I receive the 10X United miles?
Is anyone having issues with the MPX app? When I try to purchase a gift card, it goes into an endless loop of unlocking the app using face id over and over again.
The new app is bad I wish I had not updated the app for 1000 miles.They want everyone to update the new app, so looks like there is some motive.

I personally think Ebates 10 MR is better and ebates has it on 10% very often as well but it’s just personal preference

Well it was available a few days ago when I book it, by no means it’s not best deal now. What I’m saying is if people had plan last week they should have booked the MR points or people who are not in a hurry they can wait out. But if you have immedate booking that can’t wait this is best deal available
