Our Verdict

Nice deal, no need to take a photo of yourself just a screenshot of your phone fitness app should work. We post enough bad food deals that it’s nice to be able to share one that encourages exercise.

Interesting. Seems my submission from last month got rolled over to this month. Got an email today of redeeming this offer. I expect to receive the virtual gebit sometime later via email similar to their other promotions. Previous promos took a week or two or month?

Signed up for My Cooler Rewards, uploaded a screenshot from Garmin Connect of a bike ride last night, got the virtual prepaid card this morning. Easy $5.

Email from Bud Light Trade Marketing Team ([email protected]) with subject Bud Light Rebate Program containing a link to a virtual prepaid card.

They held promotional events in New York City and Chicago on Saturday (May 15), so maybe the redemption rate went up (with the processing rate going down). I got mine in before then.

It looks like you can submit the rebate without signing up for My Cooler Rewards, but the terms say you need to be member, so I signed up before submitting the rebate. I don’t know if that really makes a difference, though.

Andy, you should probably play the lottery, or maybe you used up all of your luck on this promo. From the comment, you are the only winner here. I didn’t get any acknowledgement. Not worth fighting for, but clearly the AB folks know this. Maybe the 175,000 total number referenced is pennies.

You may have been too late for May. It’s 175,000 total, but limited to 35,000 per month, May through September.

I guess I should play the lottery, since they sent me a second card yesterday for June’s offer period without having done anything.

Creative and positive-ish promo! People just need to keep in mind that a single session of exercise very likely burns fewer calories than $5 worth of beer will put back in the body. But hey, instead of simply pushing a product, making a simultaneous attempt at encouraging better lifestyle is commendable.

Looks like this will recur every month through September

This promo seems like it can very easily be abused.

So it’s also likely it won’t be an easy payout process.
