Our Verdict

Dell is probably the most interesting offer, from memory last time people got that to work on gift cards – but I can’t seem to find physical gift cards on the site anymore. Let me know your thoughts on these offers in the comments. Read these things you should know about AmEx offers

Hey Doc,
Are these AMEX Sync offers available for anyone with an AMEX card that just tweets it and link it to their account?

Physical gift cards: Go here: http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/19/campaigns/gift-card-us?~ck=mn

Then click on “Rather send a card by mail? “MAIL A GIFT CARD INSTEAD.”

However, Dell seems to process these gift cards through cashstar, so it likely will not trigger the credit. Correct?

The FAQ on the cashstar site simply says “When is my credit card charged for my purchase?
Your credit card is charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your credit/debit card statement as DELL CASHSTAR EGIFTCRD.”

Seems pretty obvious that it’s cashstar through and through. Pretty sweet deal for direct Dell purchases but no-go for GC I’m afraid.
