Our Verdict

Don’t think any of these offers are particularly interesting from a resale of giftcard perspective (or really that interesting in general). Sometimes the 1800 flowers deal can make sense when they offer big portal rebates. Actually now that I look, the United portal is offering 30x United miles + another spending bonus. If you spend $50 exactly you’d earn 1,500 miles and pay $35 (2.33¢ per mile + some 1800 flowers).

I just did the Amex Petco offer and the order has shipped. My Amex offer did not get triggered.
My sister ordered Sunday, but she got notification that she just used her Amex offer. Anybody else had this happen?

Sometimes those emails don’t come or they’ll occasionally come delayed. I wouldn’t sweat it.

Thank you for posting when the Amex deals come in because they are just one of the many reasons I check your blog every day.
Thank you for all that you (and the other contributors) do!

My dog said to tell you that he likes it when you post Petco offers.
Yes, he’s very smart … and frugal. 🙂

He signed on knowing the cat situation. That was 16 years ago. If he flees it won’t be because of cats. 😀

Not sure how anyone’s time was wasted on these posts. The title was very clear. If you couldn’t gather everything you needed from the title, your time can’t be that valuable anyways.

Interesting update, Multi browser trick worked for 1-800 Flowers, but I was instantly denied on the Hotels.com deal. Not sure if AMEX is starting to get wise to the multi tab trick…….

Have to agree that neither of these offers is worth wasting anyone’s time by posting.

I did get a $10 of $50 from Hotels.com on several cards. Some might be interested. Dunno if you can stack gcs at Hotels.com

You can only pay with 1 gift card, but you can combine your gift cards online before you pay.

•Doesn’t think of any of the offers are particular interesting
•Still posts them to website

I don’t mean to be rude, but lately this site has become a $10 off coupon site. The quality of the content seems to be steadily declining.

Every post and every offer will look huge to one reader and a nothing to another. Everyone has a different taste in whats good for him.
This is the beauty of this site, it covers everything, they dont leave any deal unturned from big to small. They rock!

If you don’t like the offer, don’t read the post. This blog is GREAT! I read it everyday… I don’t go for the $10 offers but the bank bonuses and credit card bonuses and everything else is extremely well done and researched.

Keep up the good work DofC!

Just because William doesn’t find them interesting from a resale perspective doesn’t mean that the deals aren’t interesting for other people—I would hop on the Petco deal in a heartbeat if I didn’t still have $100 in Petco GCs from the Samsung Pay deal. $10 off $50 is 20% off. That’s awesome if (like me) you have do buy just over $50 in dog food every month.

And surely with Valentine’s Day coming up, someone (not me) may find something useful from the other deals.
