Our Verdict
These were both available when these Chase offers first launched, but expired on December 15th, 2017. Hoping for a good selection of Chase & American Express offers for 2018.

Took a look at my Ultimate Rewards (from Freedom, but I assume it to be the same for other UR cards), seems they put Best Buy, Dave & Busters, Domino’s Pizza and Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards in with a 10% discount for redeeming points.
Used the Lowe’s one last month and don’t see a new one.
and I used the staples one and don’t see it. I didn’t use Lowes and it’s there.
Complicating offer rewards… definitely not putting the Marriott in my wallet.
I’m not seeing this offer. Of course, I already used it last time, so maybe they don’t make it available again?
I used it before it expired 11/15 and I just activated a new one that expires 1/14. It may be targeted but for those who used the offer are not excluded from getting a new one.

I have never used the chase offers, can I purchase gift cards and still receive the 10 percent back?

Yes CB on AMZ GC at Lowes
I got credit for buying Dining everywhere GC at Lowe’s.
