- $10 will be deposited into your account at the same time you present your unused business checks and/or business debit card to a branch representative

- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
There is a $6 monthly fee that is waived if you have a minimum daily balance of $1,500 or greater. There is no early account termination fee listed in their fee schedule.
Our Verdict
Columbia also offer a $100 bonus on their personal account. Really need to know if it’s a hard or soft pull before we can comment on whether it’s a good deal or not. There is no monthly fee. This article says there is a waivable $6 fee, but the link to the Columbia Bank Free Small Business Checking Account clearly says “No monthly fee. No minimum balance.”
This puts it over the line to make the offer worth doing if you can.
