DP’s
Opened 1/8. Confirmation call and DL upload to verify residency. Funded with $100, $25 DD every 2 weeks. Met requirements: DD, e-statements, app/online banking, waited 90+ days. No bonus, sent secure message to follow up 4/23, reviewed and confirmed, excuse that bonus coded incorrectly. Bonus to be deposited 5/1.
I got the bonus today after having to call twice. They tried to say I needed to have a recurring direct deposit instead of just a direct deposit as their verbiage stated. They sent me the deposit and said they were going to change their marketing language.
Anyone else do this bonus and actually receive it?
Their system unenrolled me from estatements at some point. I didn’t realize this until I didn’t receive the bonus as expected which was 1/22. Signed up for estatements again and later in the day I was unenrolled again. Thankfully I had a screenshot showing date I originally setup estatements which was later on in the same day my account was approved. Chat reps stated I didn’t qualify for the bonus due to not being enrolled even with proof of screenshots showing I did enroll and also showing the glitch of it unenrolling me.
So I called a branch and it was escalated to a manager who then stated that because I wasn’t using the account every month that wasn’t the type of customer the promotion was for, that they wanted me to do more banking transactions during the 90 day period. I wrote an email with the terms, stated they can’t just change the terms after I fairly met them (terms don’t say they can change them either).
It simply was a direct deposit, enroll in estatements, and online banking. I even confirmed on the phone with the rep who finished the sign up of my account that there wasn’t a minimum amount of DDs or a min dollar amount either. I used Chase Biz and ACHed $250. It was even recognized by 3 different reps I met the DD requirement, it was the estatement glitch that disqualified me. Funny that after the chat with online rep I re-enrolled again and it seems to have stuck conveniently on 1/23, one day after the 90 days.
This glitch happened with my P2 account but thankfully when I re-enrolled it so far has stuck. P2’s 90 days isn’t until 1/28. So will be interesting to see if the “glitch” happens again right before that or if they will payout or not etc. I’ll be checking their account a couple times a day until 1/28 making sure P2 is still enrolled in estatements, lol.
I at least might have to file a complaint for my bonus if my assertive yet polite email back to the manager doesn’t work.
I successfully completed the requirements and haven’t received the bonus either. Double checked estatement enrollment and all. I guess I’ll have to reach out to the bank.
Manager reviewed my account and confirmed I did signup for estatements but didn’t give a reason/explanation on why I kept getting unenrolled. P2’s 90 days is today and so far no bonus but still enrolled in estatements. I’ll wait a few days before contacting in case it pays out later today or tomorrow.
I ended up contacting support yesterday confirming that I had done everything. The $300 posted the savings account today!
only option to hit is to get a virtual address in New Mexico not very difficult but haven’t tested it yet
only works if they don’t req id
which banks don’t req id? current, chime, uhhh
Won’t work. They require you to upload ID during application and they require a zoom call with you and your ID before they will open account.
Am I blind as I’m not seeing the offer on the page but when I scroll all the way down I can see the T&C fine print at the bottom. Where is this offer on the page?
I can’t find the offer either.
Denied Out-of-state.
