No More Cashback Portal for Selling Gift Cards on Raise

Update: Raise will be back on topcashback next Monday.

Topcashback has removed Raise from their shopping portal, ending the ability to get $1.50 per gift card sale.

Many shopping portals offer 1-2% cashback on gift card purchases made on Raise, although it’s capped at a max of $1,000 in lifetime purchases, and the $1k is likely combined across all shopping portals.

Topcashback has removed Raise entirely, for purchases and sales. The sales part is far more significant since purchases still work with other portals, and are limited to $1k, in any case.

Thanks to my friend Susan from FPT Gift Box for letting me know about this on Twitter.

Most portals only offer cashback for gift card purchases. If anyone knows of a portal that works for gift card sales, let us know in the comments.

Splender offer rebates for sales at Raise. Didn’t track automatically, but customer service remedied it manually.

I stopped getting the sales tracked by both Raise and Saveya after certain point. I dont’ know if that’s because I’m a bulk seller or they just stopped issuing cashback for sales like cardpool.

@Daniel: The trick to getting Raise to track on TCB as a bulk seller is to use the regular selling page, not the bulk seller listing page. You have to list one card at a time and not back-to-back. I usually wait at least 10 minutes before listing. It’s a bit of a hassle but if you keep a window open in the background and list whenever you remember throughout the day, you should be able to list 5-20 cards a day. At $1.50 each, that’s a nice chunk of change. 🙂

Good luck!

I was also going to mention SBC in regards to SaveYa. The site says they offer “2% cash back on sale of Gift Cards”. Have people had success getting that tracked and paid? Adding 2% to the listed payout rates makes SaveYa often the most attractive place to sell, if SBC works.

I got two sale order on saveya tracked by SBC in March and April.

However, all three sale orders in May was not automatically tracked. I have submitted inquiries though.

I’ve had pretty similar experience. 3 out of 10 transactions randomly tracked on SBC.

I’ve submitted a bunch of missing CB claims on TCB and SBC and never heard anything back. Has anybody gotten a SaveYa claim paid out?

Simply Best Coupons T&C are vague but mention gift cards put up for sale. Doesn’t mention any cashback specifically for sales though. Haven’t tried it personally but might be an option.

– 2% cash back on most Gift Cards
– 1% cash back on the following cards:Target, Lowe’s, Sears, Amazon.com, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Starbuck’s, Macy’s, Staples, iTunes, Hyatt. Please note this list is subject to change.
– No cash back on Gift Cards listed for sale under $20
– No cash back on Lifetime Purchases over $1,000 at Raise.com
– Only coupons found on this site allowed. Cash back will be reversed when other coupons used
– Not eligible for sign up bonus payout
