FYI – Marcus does instance link to North One, ACH over in a day in my experience, so u can still get 100 over in time

How is everyone funding the $100? I can’t find where the original account that I funded it with is linked in any way? It looks like the easiest might be a paypal transfer. I guess just add the account to your paypal wallet and transfer from there?

Sorry for such a basic question, but it looks like this has to be done by Friday, so I don’t want to mess it up.

I did mobile deposit for one, and ACH into for another

No need to be sorry. With an account that I’m sure most of us have not linked to all of our accounts it can be quite a challenge to get the money in on time.

But like tinker25 said I think Mobile deposit would be the best option

This is terrific, thanks DoC! yesterday was $50 for update biz info, today is $100. WoW, balanced out the hassles went through with Swagbucks

🙁 They never even responded to my email about my denial, even after I tt someone who said that she’d have someone call. It was a good signup bonus for an online biz bank.

The Swagbucks offer got up to $300 with essentially no requirements – that’s an amazing offer from any bank. Like you, I was denied (multiple times) and it still sticks in my craw (and offers like this make it hurt all the more!). I think I called them once to try to get a reason for my denial but they wouldn’t give any information.

I wonder what is the competitive advantage that NorthOne has to offer? I guess they have the ability to do sub accounts so you can organize your transactions under different account names (but then again, any other bank could also be doing that in the future). I tried them out for a short time before but didn’t really see anything special (then again, I may not have used it to the full potential). Seems like a bunch of other small online banks offer almost similar features.

Anyway, not trying to hijack the conversation here about the $100 offer but I am curious if anyone else knows what NorthOne may be good at. I left them mainly because didn’t see anything useful to me and couldn’t waive the $10 monthly fee.

They offered to waive the fee for a few months when I chatted to cancel, I guess I should have taken them up on their offer but I had already zeroed out the account and didn’t see any benefit to keeping it open.

NorthOne seems like the gift that keeps on giving (although I understand not everyone is getting these offers). I tried multiple times to open an account with them when the Swagbucks offer was running and was always denied, with the denial email referencing my Equifax, which is spotless. I’ve also been rejected by their parent Radius Bank multiple times. Really wish I could figure out what the deal is.
