The Offer
- Westconsin Credit Union is offering a $400 bonus + $100 charity donation when you meet the following requirements:
- Become a member
- Open an eSmart Checking Account
- Complete 10 debit card transactions in August
- Complete 10 debit card transactions in September
The Fine Print
- Receive a $400 bonus after opening a new primary base share (savings) account and eSmart Checking account between 7/1/2026 and 7/31/2026, and complete at least 10 debit card transactions per month for 2 consecutive full calendar months immediately following account opening.
- Regardless of which day in July the accounts are opened, new member will need 10 qualified transactions in August and in September to qualify for the incentive.
- Membership qualification required.
- The primary account owner is the owner whose Taxpayer Identification Number, such as a Social Security Number, is assigned to the account and has tax responsibility.
- Eligible debit card transactions include: purchases made using PIN, signature, online, or by phone, payments including one-time or recurring, digital wallet purchases with your WESTconsin Credit Union debit card.
- Debit card transactions must be posted by the end of the qualification periods to be counted toward the required number of qualifying posted transactions that period. Business accounts and minors under age 18 are not eligible.
- Members who are primary owners on existing WESTconsin accounts or on previous WESTconsin accounts in the last 12 months do not qualify.
- Accounts must be in good standing upon receiving a payout.
- The $400 bonus incentive will be deposited into the qualifying member’s primary share account by October 31, 2026. WESTconsin reserves the right to withhold or reclaim incentive if qualifications are not met.
- Limit of one account per member may be included in promotion.
- The incentive is subject to federal and state tax requirements, which are account holder’s responsibility.
- WESTconsin Credit Union reserves the right to end this promotion at any time.
- No minimum balance with an eSmart Checking account. Other fees, conditions or restrictions may apply.
- Refer to the Membership Agreement, Truth in Savings Disclosure, Electronic Fund Transfers Agreement and Service Charges and Fee Schedule for more information. Insured by NCUA.
- A charitable donation designated by WESTconsin Credit Union that meets the credit union’s Mission of Giving and Donations Policy will be made in the amount of $100 for each qualifying new member of this campaign. Donation to be made by October 31, 2026.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict
Looks like a very easy (and big) bonus with no direct deposit required. I like the $100 charity donation as well. Big question is how difficult it is to get approved. As always share your experiences in the comments below.
