People are reporting a deal showing up in Office Max/Depot stores for the ‘Everywhere’ Visa gift card line:
- Get a $15 instant discount when purchasing $300 in Everywhere Visa gift cards, including the Grocery, Fuel, Dining, Movies, and Style versions of the card.

Our Verdict
These cards are Visa cards which are limited to working at merchants who code within their category. For example, the grocery Visa card will only work at grocery stores.
They aren’t nearly as useful as ordinary Visa gift cards, though they do have the advantage of a lower fee of just $4.95 per $200 card. If you have a way of unloading these easily, you’ll be netting $5.10 on each 2 x $200 purchased, plus of course you’ll get the bonus office supply credit card rewards points with Chase INK or a different card.
Some grocery stores and gas stations might sell money orders, or you can buy other gift cards at the grocery/gas as well, e.g. Amazon gift cards or whatever. It’s also a good deal for someone who simply spends a lot in one of these categories, e.g. if you eat out a lot – you’ll lock in a 1.2% discount + 5x rewards by going this route.
There is a limit of one for this deal which means you presumably can’t do more than one of this deal in a single transaction. Depending on your store velocity limits and your liquidation thresholds, it might make sense to buy $200 + $100 cards instead of two $200s.
Reader Phill also notes you can get an additional $5 discount on a purchase at Office Max/Depot by using Google or Samsung Pay along with Paypal. Note, this might not get you an office supply coding on the credit card.
There’s also another deal being advertised in the weekly circular to get 5% back in store rewards when you buy $50+ in the following gift card brands: Office Depot/Max, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Bath & Body Works, Bed Bath & Beyond, Michael’s, and Sephora.
