Shop Your Way Rewards has offered MAX memberships for multiple years, some people signed up for a membership in 2017 or even earlier and have had the annual fee waived every year since then. It looks like SYWR is trying to generate any revenue they can and are actively charging the $39 (plus taxes). I imagine most readers of this site forgot they even have this membership, you can check your current status by clicking here. Given the state of SYWR, I definitely don’t think this is worth paying for so remember to cancel your member to avoid being charged.
