Our Verdict
Last time around we have a data point of the coupon actually working properly (prior to that there had been issues). Unclear if the $10 comes straight off the gift card or if you need to have $10 of groceries in the same checkout to get the discount.
Similar deal going on at Safeway, Albertson’s, etc. You can use these deals to help max out the Freedom and Discover 5% categories this quarter which includes grocery stores.

I used this yesterday and attempted two separate transactions with two different credit cards.
The first applied automatically (it had failed in the previous times they ran this), but the second didn’t apply. Their language of “one offer per transaction” seems incorrect.
anyone know if we can use the coupon more than once on the account? i understand once per “visit” but can we use the same email? asking for a friend…
this is definitely perfect for those with the double cashback for their first year with discover.
I used the coupon yesterday and now I can not get the coupon to appear when I am signed into my account. Sounds like once they were able to get it to code correctly, they also set it up where you can only use it once.

Like the last time, I used it once then it disappeared from my clipped coupons and was no longer available.
This is a great find with no grocery requirement (that I can see). The coupon is available through the customer digital coupon account. Simply sign in and click it to your list. Details are offered on the coupon, also.

Publix seems to have figured out how to get the coupon to apply now. Another option is to use Discover to finish out that quarterly 5% bonus.

I just took advantage of this deal, and I was able to purchase this gift card on its own. No groceries needed!
And it took off $10?
Yes. Total was $206.95 for a $200 gift card, then the coupon credited $10 to the total, so the final amount came out to $196.05.
