Radisson Rewards: Earn 3,000 Bonus Points Per Night Starting Your Second Stay

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Radisson Rewards is offering a bonus of 3,000 points per night starting on your second stay. Must register and stay from May 27th until August 31st, 2019

The Fine Print

  • By registering for and participating in the promotion (“Promotion”), you acknowledge, and you agree to these terms and conditions. Promotion is valid on Eligible Stays and Night(s) consumed from May 27, 2019 through August 31, 2019 (“Promotion Period”) at all Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels worldwide (collectively, “Participating Properties”). “Eligible Stay(s)” means one or more consecutive Eligible Nights at the same hotel regardless of the number of check-in or check-out that occur during that stay. Both the check-in and check-out dates of the Eligible Stay must take place during the Promotion Period. “Eligible Stay(s)” and “Eligible Nights” must be booked through an eligible source, as defined in the Radisson Rewards Terms and Conditions

Our Verdict

Personally I hate these promotions where you get nothing on the first stay. I much prefer when they just ramp up with the more stays you complete. Often I don’t know how much I’ll be traveling during the promo period so getting that first stay in can be difficult if there is no bonus. Not that it really matters as an extra 3,000 points per night isn’t enough to get me to change my booking habits in the first place.

The terms do not preclude separating a multi-night reservation to meet the first stay requirement?

This promotion does NOT include reward stays.
The last promotion Jan 15 – March 31 did include reward stays.

At a recent FTU, a speaker who worked at Radisson Rewards said that hotels want to encourage guests to stay more than once per year, so incentives won’t kick in until the second stay. I’m sure other hotel loyalty programs have similar views on encouraging guests to stay more than once a year at a hotel in their program.
