Our Verdict
Readers Davis and Matt sent this in, noting that you can get an order in for around $18-$22 which gets you some free food and a small $8-$12 moneymaker. If you value Membership Rewards points more than 1 cent cash, then this deal is even more valuable. I’m not sure how this deal compares to prior HelloFresh deals.

How does the Rakuten promotion work? It says up to $36 but when I click on the promotion it says $12 for new customers and $5 for returning.
The base offer on Rakuten for new HelloFresh customers is $12 but it’s currently elevated to $36 so you should get $36.

– Don’t use another promo code: There is a default one applied when you click through
– Stackable with a card-linked offer
– After signing up, immediately skip every order besides the first week’s order. This is a subscription plan, and they can and will charge you if you forget to skip.
– After getting the first week’s order I believe you can deactivate the plan. You should still get the payout since the terms specify the cashback is for your first order/meal kit.

Then I clicked to skip the next several weeks so that HelloFresh won’t charge me.
I plan to cancel my HelloFresh plan after I will redeem my TopCashBack cash back.
(I don’t want to cancel right now in case TopCashBack won’t pay out)
