The free public transportation in Luxembourg is an amazing move. Surely it’s a big socialist step that many of conservative folks will hate, and it won’t be without problems, but as a world community we desperately need solutions to steer commuters and travelers from burning fossil fuel in order to each move a 4,000-pound metal box around. I see it as less about giving the public free rides as keeping CO2 emission, road congestion, and traffic accidents to a minimum. That’s worth supporting with tax dollars.
well yeah, it’s a common sense move.. has nothing to do with “conservative” or “liberal”.. Americans are always so stuck in that mindset.
