- Citi AT&T Access More Card Seems to Be Completely Unavailable for Product Changes & My Grand Citi TYP Experiment Was Foiled! I like that Middle Aged Miles try new things to see what would/wouldn’t work.
- Amtrak Offers Acela Nonstop Service Between Washington, D.C. And New York City. Really should be a proper fast rail connection between these cities.
- Know Where You’re Going But Need Help With An Itinerary? Try Visitacity! by YMMV. Anybody had experience with this site? I’m yet to find a really good jumping off point that is reliable, I’d obviously never rely on something like this 100% but sometimes it’s nice to be able to have a quick glance on some different options on what to do.

Nice on the visitacity, will have to try it. I’ve been organizing our itineraries with the Sygic app – their update kind of made it harder to use but still quite useful for planning an outline of what we’re going to do and optimizing driving/walking/transit.
I’ve tried a few times to convert my ATTA to an ATTAM but no luck. I guess I can try the Premier conversion, but I doubt that will really work. I suspect someone was confused and just reported that it worked when they got an ATTA, and not the ATTAM.
ATTA is actually a pretty good card. No limits on its online purchasing unlike some of the other competing cards with that bonus category.
““The new Acela Nonstop service will have you halfway to your New York City or DC destination in the time it would take you to board a flight,” said Amtrak President & CEO Richard Anderson.”
Unless…my NYC destination is in Queens.
I once had a canceled flight in Beijing and they also gave me a shared room with a complete stranger. I was only 22, a bit naive, and they paired me with a 30ish guy from the UK. We both thought it was weird too but it was way to frustrating arguing for single room. If it happed to me today, I would definitely not accept it.
Same Airline? Then, it is their policy to accommodate with shared rooms. The name of the woman bringing the complaint is in the article, go provide some more ammunition to her case.
No, It was China Air in my case but I think It happens a lot. These airlines probably always test what they can get away with.
Hi Will – Many thanks for the links – always appreciated. I only wish I had better news to report on getting the ATTAM card! ~Craig
