Thank you for posting the DC info. Eye opening and pleasantly surprised.
I hadn’t previously encountered Mark Rober. So moving the account of his son. Heart and mind warming too in discovering Rober’s work…. great stuff.
Thanks for sharing the video William Charles! Both of my kids are on the spectrum.
What’s a PayPal load?
One can load Paypal at Walmart etc in much the same way as Serve/BB/GB.
Mark Rober is just a gem of a person. I wish elite schools and institutions could scout on his stack, rather than more conventional attributes like fancy scores/grades/backgrounds.
Thanks for sharing Mark Rober’s video. Made me laugh, made me cry.
I really enjoy his videos a lot. He’s a gem of a person.
Saw the headline, thought 35X was some wild bonus deal I was missing and got pissssssssed
Vaccinated people should be allowed to travel again freely. The excessive use of “Do Not Travel” advisories is borderline ‘boy who cried wolf’ at best and self-serving at worst. I assume someone in the administration realized that if we spook folks out of traveling internationally it will probably be better for domestic tourism. Regardless of the pandemic, you are more likely to die in Chicago than Tahiti. Thankfully, those ‘advisories’ are mere suggestions. Go if you want!
Is this a cynical attempt to boost domestic tourism at the expense of international tourism or… hear me out… is it that the pandemic is currently as bad as it has ever been for much of the world excepting some very wealthy countries that have made substantial vaccination progress (with, hopefully, many others to join their ranks soon).
If you are hell-bent on going somewhere that the virus is still out of control, no one is going to arrest you. But, if you can at all put off your Eat, Pray, Love journey, you should, and it is reasonable for the State Dept. to say so.
JB ”Eat, Pray, Love” LOL
It doesn’t make sense to list Germany in the same category as Russia and Iran when the CDC has stated the risk for vaccinated individuals is low.
people who had it…don’t fall toe the vax-only pharma pr…England – 55% antibodies I read.
From one throwaway account to another, I do enjoy seeing people here vehemently justifying their lifestyle choices by expertly citing where death is more likely or unlikely to happen, especially where the pandemic is concerned.
You do you. Die however you like.
I respect your right to die in Chicago, but if you’re flying to Tahiti anytime soon please leave your kids behind, like at a summer camp.

no screaming little shits in Bora Bora, please
Live the dream of being the unwitting ‘typhoid mary’ going to remote places with underserved healthcare and vaccinations?
