- After taking a body blow from Sapphire, Amex is reaping the benefits by Payments Source via VFTW. Bit of an early celebration by American Express here, especially with the cuts to Priority Pass access.

Just wanted to say thanks for including Miles4Migrants in today’s post! I’m not sure if any other blogs have picked it up, but I’ve noticed they got an uptick in donations today. (Not affiliated with M4M but happy to see them get closer to their goal.)
Always glad to support them
Chase gave away the barn with CSR. Time to up the game again. Come on chase.
I missed it. What happened? I also just signed up for my first CSR back in May. hmm?
“…another user turned his $2,000 deposit into $50,000, which he then used to acquire Apple puts…” pull up a chart of Apple now so when something sucks today you can just think to yourself at least you aren’t that guy!
I mean its not like he risked that much compared to the potential gain. What a legend
These are borrowed funds. He potentially lost $50k if the puts went to zero which would result in a margin call of $48k. He has to pay the money back to the broker.
This is old he already lost the 50k. Options expired 11/1, the day after he bought them. here’s his reaction https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A-tNkuYV4_Q
And now there is a video explaining the video. LOL

ROFL “60% increase in growth” for Plat cards
Special math that.
No kidding! Their cancellation and interruption does not cover that much. Once people realize that their incidental fees and Uber credits are rationed, they will go back to the CSR.
On a side note, I think I am going to dump the CSR for US Altitude because mobile payments are now fairly ubiquitous.
Love my Altitude. Just hate the part about not being able to buy gift cards without fear of shutdown.
Taking rich people’s money and giving to the poor, that sounds pretty robin hood-y to me!
I guess it makes sense. People get the Saphire Reserve and get to go to lesser lounges and they thus hear about Centurian Lounges and then change to Amex Platinum.
