- Credit Cards That Got the Axe in 2017 by Credit Cardpe Diem. Merrill+ was the big loss for me, but a few other sad axings.
- Walmart Experiments With Personal Shoppers by PYMNTS. Sorry but I just don’t think styling and fashion advice from a Walmart associate is going to catch on.
- Hotel “Urban Destination Charge” Fees Are Spreading, Costing Travelers Big by Travel Codex. Say it with me, if a fee is mandatory it should have to be legally displayed in the listing price! Maybe I need to catch up with a better tagline, but you get the idea.
- Kansas Man Killed In ‘SWATting’ Attack by Krebs On Security. This is such a sad story.
I don’t know about this Walmart personal shopper thing. Not that I am ashamed to say I will shop at anyplace from dollar tree to Neiman Marcus.. no shopping brand name snobbery here. got silly one time and used my Walmart mc at Saks in Tampa just to see if they had any reaction.. they didn’t so joke was on me lol. anyway, I can’t see personal shopper at Walmart good for much more than maybe some people using it for groceries? guess wait and see what they roll out.
The second story reminds me of that one time I was in a Walmart for MS reasonss and had a question. Ended up flagging down this young woman who I thought dressed like a Walmart associate. As you might have guessed, she was not. Oops.
