The Fine Print
- American Express membership rewards points are excluded from this promotion
- Maximum of 25,000 bonus Aeroplan miles per member
- Valid until April 27th, 2015
- Bonus miles will post 7-10 days after the miles hit your Aeroplan account
Our Verdict
None of these transfer partners really make sense, apart from SPG as you’ll also earn the 5,000 point bonus for every 20,000 points transferred. This means you should be able to transfer 80,000 SPG points and receive a total of 125,000 Aeroplan miles.
Personally I’d much prefer 80,000 SPG points to 125,000 Aeroplan miles especially considering the fuel surcharges they charge. This also might make sense if you have some orphaned points in any of these programs and actually value Aeroplan miles.
