I tried a lot of rebate sites, swagbucks seems to be the one that just refuses to give swagbucks to customers even if I did the purchase through swagbucks. Contacting customer support has no use.
I’m not sure whether anyone has a similar issue, my Apple account is permanently disabled by Apple, which I don’t know the reason. They told me there is a violation of terms, but the specific reason can not be released to me. I don’t know what activity is counted as a violation. Probably there are two risky activity in my guess. First purchasing more than $4,000 gift card when there was discount Apple gift card in Amazon/Target/Bestbuy, which I do have the copy of receipt. Second I used my account buy multiple Apple products for different friends, the shipping address are different. I can explain these activities, however, Apple doesn’t give me a chance to do so, which is really disappointing. I lost more than $1,600 in account balance.
Currently I still want to use Apple products, but I’m afraid I won’t buy any Apple Gift Card.
Yeah. I always remind myself not to keep high gift card balance on Amazon or Apple. They can disable my account at any time and I can’t do anything
The apple account balance is strange. Unlike Amazon, I cannot see past activity, individual additions deductions etc. Just the current amount only. Once I traded in an iphone and they added the trade in value to my balance. But there was no way to verify, even the agents cannot see balance history. I wish they were more transparent.
FYI for those making a big purchase at Apple. You can use up to 8 GCs on order. This is a nice % discount but maybe you’d rather have a larger denomination GC
Alternatively, you can redeem all the gift cards to your App Store account and get “credit” for them. Then use all the credit at once when you purchase something.
You can redeem unlimited amounts to apple balance and use that.
Super late side note, there is a limit on the apple balance. 5-8k I think, just wanted to let others know.

If you have a stash of swagbucks and can use money at apple, this offers a way to redeem at a premium much more quickly than their once-a-month discounted $25 visa giftcard.
The $25 VISA GC’s are generally only discounted 13%. So this 15% is better.
