[Rumor] Amazon Prime Week: July 15th – July 22nd

Amazon has offered Amazon Prime Day for the past three years, personally I’ve found the discounts to be a mixed basket. Some have been very good, but the majority of the great deals have been in the lead up to the day itself and offered directly from Amazon rather than individual sellers. Normally we see Amazon Prime day in early July, according to a worker at Amazon they will be running ‘Amazon Prime Week’ from July 15th until July 22nd. It’s not clear if July 22nd will also be Amazon Prime day, or if they are scraping prime day in favor of prime week.

Prime week, from the 15th to the 22nd? Seems like a poor choice of dates. A week is not 8 days, and neither 15 nor 22 are prime. They should do it the 17th to 23rd.

scrap. “small piece,” late 14c., from Old Norse skrap “scraps, trifles,” from skrapa “to scrape, scratch, cut” (see scrape (v.)). Meaning “remains of metal produced after rolling or casting” is from 1790.

You know that table at the back of the store with five year old computer games, tattered packages of hair clips, and a a full box of almost expired packets of yeast? That’s Prime Day.

Should be good to get prime “on sale” for $99?

Meh I like it from a resellers standpoint. A lot of cheap items that can easily be resold the next week.

Like you I’ll be looking for the deals shipped from and sold by Amazon. Most aren’t even advertised. I’ve given up on trying to claim an item. It’s along the lines of trying to get popular concert tickets….

This is one day I don’t look forward to.
Even if you find something to buy it ALWAYS gets 100% claimed within millionth of a second of you hitting the add to cart button.
Also you can buy the same item at the same price months later.

One year on Prime day they were pretty much only discounting stuff that didn’t sell. I had a very bad impression for Prime Day since then.
