Our Verdict
This deal is working on variable-load cards too, as in the past, which makes it much more useful for racking up grocery spend. Remember to save the coupon first; also, use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases (including the Chase Freedom this quarter). In the past, you typically did not get fuel points on Visa/MC gift cards.
