The Fine Print
- Must use store card in order to get the deal.
- Valid 6/10/15 – 6/23/15.
- Instant discount.
- Limit one offer per transaction.
- Gift cards can not be used to purchase gift cards.

There are a bunch of targeted offers being reported as well:

- Buy $50 or more in eBay gift cards and receive a $10 instant discount. Limit 1.
- Buy $50 or more in JC Penny gift cards and receive a $10 instant discount. Limit 1 per transaction.
- Buy $50 or more in TGI Friday’s gift cards and receive a $10 instant discount.
- $3 off $20 in groceries.
These are targeted offers and not everyone is getting all of the offers. It’s not clear if the coupon discount can be stacked with the public discount of $15 off $100. If it can be combined, you can get quite a deal on TGI and JC Penny.
The Fine Print
- Be sure to add the coupon to your account beforehand and then the discount should reflect instantly at checkout when using your store card.
- Some/all these deals expire 6/23/15.
Our Verdict
We previously reported on the eBay gift card deal which is the best one here, although it’s limited in that it’s only one-time use. Stacking these gift card deals with the gas points can really get you a great value here.
Be sure to use a credit card which earns a high bonus rate at supermarkets.
Safeway did limit the redemption options on their gas points program starting June, although many still find it useful.

I bought a 50 buck tgif and 50 jcp. The 20 from the coupons and 15 from the ad stacked. Also, there was an additional 10 bucks taken of the jcp card. This happened the last time i bought jcp around mothers day. I will take 55 bucks for 100 in gift cards all day. There was also another 15 off 100 in the sunday paper but i didnt directly apply this to gift cards only. Oh and double fuel points. Weeeeee

At least for me the JC Penney $10 off $50 offer is one time only. So whether you can stack it with the other $15 back on $100 offer isn’t really all that interesting.
Be aware that you can typically buy JC Penney gift cards at almost 20% off any day of the week, so $25 off $100 is not a gigantic savings, and you still can’t make money selling JCP GCs even if the offers stack.
