Our Verdict

Should be easy enough to use the SAH portal three times before year’s end, and netting an extra $15 total. Most people will probably be doing a nice amount of shopping before year’s end, and should be able to find merchants where SAH is offering a competitive cashback rate.

Personally, I like doing these deals when making a gift card purchase on eBay; the SAH portal offers between .5% and 1.5% on eBay, depending on the season, and it usually works for gift card purchases in my experience. I’ll make three separate $150 purchases from eBay on three separate days to get the extra $15 bonus.

I had 275 shop gold points after they turned off the shopgold earnings. Since the smallest payout was 500 points, i thought they were wasted. I took a stab in the dark and emailed their customer service. within a day, they emailed back and added the extra points on to get me to 500! YMMV of course, but if you have under 500 shopgold points, it does not hurt to ask!

Shopathome was a much stronger cashback site option when it had the 110% guarantee and shopgold. It tends to lag on cashback % in many categories I commonly shop in, but the above offer still can make it a good value. Their customer service has been pretty good in my experience also. I still use it but it’s no longer the 1-stop site it was previously.

I agree with you the %110 cb guarantee was awesome and i’m sad to see it go. It sometimes has reasonable rates but has lagged behind seriously. Currently they have good rates good for about 2 days (ending today i think), for their birthday celebrations

you do not have to use your ebay bucks in one transaction
