Our Verdict
Not as good as the spend $100 get $20 deal that ran November 24th – 25th but still a great deal. Deal is made better when you stack it with the American Express sync offer for $20/2,000 membership rewards points when you spend $75+, that can be used twice so even if you only have the offer on one card you can take advantage of both of these Shoprite deals. Given it works on all gift cards, most people should be able to take advantage of this deal. It’s an easy $15 off an Amazon card (plus AmEx offer) or buy a $100 Visa gift card with $5.95 activation fee and make $9.05.
In my area ShopRite vgc’s come with 6.95 fee.
If you buy the pre-set price $100 card it’s only $5.95 (south Philly).
Do you know if you have to give your price plus card number for this or is it automatic when you hit the $100?
You need to either scan or type in your price plus number.
Does this work for Price Rite, Shop Rite’s sister company?
Probably not.
The stop and shop is a better deal as well, $20 in groceries coupon, and you can do it 10 times I think (I have done it 3 times already, and want to go back for more).

I can’t wait to pounce on this at my local SR! You might want to edit the title because it reads as though you must buy one $100 gift card to get the $15 shopping credit, but you only have to buy a total of $100 in gift cards. 🙂
