Simon Mall To Stock Mastercard Giftcards

Simon Mall has sent out an e-mail stating that they will now be stocking Mastercard Simon Giftcards. Hopefully this means we will get some promotions to celebrate the launch.

My local simon mall has tons of these cards, $500 for $3.95 same as Visa, told my ladies to tell her SM marketing director to burn them all lol, even with a $1 off i will pass.

I saw these at my local simon mall…unfortunately, the max load amount on these were $250 and the fee printed was the same as Visa – $3.95

I am very seriously hoping they aren’t replacing VISAs with these?

As long as they don’t replace VISA – and they should be about $2 less in fees for the hassle of unloading them!

For those of us who banked FFDs in the recent Plastiq promo this is perfect. Mastercards can pay mortgages while Visas (even prepaid ones) can’t.

How do you get the fees down to make it worth it? There’s a fee to buy a mastercard gift card then another fee for Plastiq.

I’d only buy if they were fee free like they did with Amex recently otherwise not worth the hassle.
