- Skyla Credit Union is offering bonus of up to $100 when you open a new imply or Simply Prosper account and complete the following requirements:
- Earn $100 when you direct deposit at least $500 in a month to your new Simply Prosper Checking Account
- Earn $50 when you direct deposit at least $300 in a month to your new Simply Checking Account
The Fine Print
- Any checking account closed within 90 days after bonus payout will be subject to deduction of payout amount at the time of closing
- A “Qualifying Direct Deposit” is a minimum direct deposit amount (as described above) of regular monthly income – such as your salary, pension, or Social Security benefits, which are made by your employer or government entity – using account and routing numbers that you provide to them. Minimum direct deposit amount will vary based on checking account type as described above. Qualifying Direct Deposits to the same account may be combined to satisfy the minimum deposit requirement amount.
- A “Non-qualifying Direct Deposit” are transfers and deposits such as: teller deposits, wire transfers, debit card transfers, ATM transfers or deposits, Online and Mobile Banking transfers or deposits, transfers from a bank or brokerage account or investment account or transfers or deposits from Digital Wallet providers such as Cash App, Zelle, or Venmo.
- A “Qualifying Checking Account” is a newly opened eligible checking account that receives a Qualifying Direct Deposit within 60 days of checking account opened date; either of which must be in good standing at the time of bonus payout. All checking accounts must meet all other requirements.
- A “Non-qualifying Checking Account” is an existing Skyla checking account opened prior to 07/28/2025 or a Skyla checking account opened after 07/28/2025 that does not have a direct deposit started within 60 days of checking account open date, any checking account not in good standing at the time of payout or any checking account that has not met the required minimum direct deposit.
- An “Ineligible Checking Account” is any checking account subject to tax withholding, any account titled as an Irrevocable Trust, or Estate, any checking account not in good standing.
- A “Good standing account” is defined as: a checking account that is not negative more than 30 days, current on all loan obligations or delinquency less than 60 days, has no legal orders, levies, or liens against your account or account warnings. Any checking account closed prior to bonus payment will forfeit any bonus payout. Any checking account closed within 90 days after bonus payout will be subject to deduction of payout amount at the time of closing.
- One bonus payout eligible per qualifying checking account and per member tax identification number. Checking account must be opened on or after July 28, 2025 to be eligible.
- Bonus payouts will be paid within 30 days of completing all requirements.
- Bonus payouts will end on 11/29/2025. Skyla reserves the right to make promotion changes. Offer may be extended, modified or discontinued at any time and may vary by market. Reproduction, purchase, sale, transfer or trade of this offer is prohibited.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict
Always nice to see nationwide bonuses, especially with some credit card funding to help meet the requirements for credit card bonuses. Worth doing especially if you’ve already done the bigger bonuses available. Will be added to the list of the best bank account bonuses.
