Our Verdict

Southwest has a pretty good cancellation/refunds policy, depending on the fare you’ve booked you’ll either receive a credit towards a future flight(Wanna Get Away) or cash refund (Business Select or Anytime – returned to credit card if you used one). It’s always worth checking to see if your flights have fallen in price when they offer these types of sale. This one is bigger than the weekly ones they normally have. Keep in mind award flights are tied to the cash price of a flight.

You can search your account history for the confirmation number or when you go cancel it will tell you the points refund before you actually cancel

Anybody know why SNA is excluded? I have also seen it absent from the last two sales.
