The Fine Print
- Register by November 30th, 2017
- Eligible stays are between September 12th, 2017 and January 15th, 2018
- The bonus Starpoints will post to the registered member’s SPG account within two to four weeks after the qualifying stay posts.
Our Verdict
500/1,000 points per stay isn’t very exciting to me, I guess the 10,000 points would be somewhat motivating if I was close to reaching 25 nights naturally anyway but I doubt that will be the case for me personally. SPG also gave some people targeted offers recently as well that were a lot more attractive. Marriott’s promotion is stay twice and get a free night at category 1-5 property.

The total charge can just be $300 including tax, right? or do they check that the room rate was actually 300 before tax?
I wonder if this promo is stackable with the one we just received on earning double qualifying nights and stay credits?
What I’m thinking is, if I stay 13 nights and it gets counted as 26 nights by one promo, the system should allow the 10,000 points from this latest promo?
Yeah I hope they messed up like that but I doubt it. Won’t know until the final tally of course.
