Spirit Airlines To Liquidate As Early As This Week

According to Bloomberg sources say that Spirit Airlines could liquidate as early as this week. Spirit was going to merge with JetBlue before being blocked by the DoJ and then the deal was terminated by JetBlue. Spirit then filed for bankruptcy this August and was expected to exit this process this summer before rising fuel costs put additional pressure on the airline.
