[Expired] Starbucks Offering Free Coffee To Front Line Responders [Extended Until May 31st]

Update 5/7/20: This has been extended until May 31st, 2020

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Starbucks is offering free coffee (tall, hot or iced) to front line responders through May 31st, 2020

The Fine Print

  • Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, hospital and medical staff and medical researchers all qualify

Our Verdict

Looks like Starbucks is using the honor system, if you abuse this then you’re a trash person that should feel bad about themselves.

Midnight call back & a 7:30 am shift this morning. Already went through the pot I brewed at home, this is actually going to be very much needed today.

Thanks doc for posting this. As an ICU nurse this will be a much needed pick me up. To those lousy people that abuse this……..I hope I don’t see you in my ICU.

Why? Will you “accidentally” turn off the levophed or vent?

I would hope that you would give them the same care as someone that didn’t abuse it

If you want the Nimbex, Diprivan, Precedex and/or Fentanyl to arrive before the next bag runs dry, don’t abuse!

Would’ve been nice to also include grocery store workers also but this is a very nice gesture. I hope all of these workers stay safe.

Supply lines are by nature not front lines. Having to deal with the public because of essential services is very different from having to actively care for someone with COVID.

Against SOP. Disciplinary actions have been pursued vs. those who have violated. Your dept. policy (& enforcement) may vary.

Interesting because Starbucks usually shits on police officers.

Maybe they decided excluding LEOs from the long list of others included would be just a bit too much bad publicity?

This guy and my wife are both nurses. We used this today. We brought our badges but they didn’t require it. Thank you!
