For awhile we’ve had major issues with the ability to be able to subscribe to comments. In the comments section of each post there is the option to receive notifications of follow up comments to your e-mail address. If you’re leaving a comment you can opt to receive just replies to your comment or all comments on that post. You can also subscribe without leaving a comment.
For awhile now only some e-mails have been sent out. We’ve now resolved that issue and you should get an e-mail whenever a new comment is added. In addition the page where you manage your subscriptions is working properly. I know a lot of readers have found this not working extremely frustrating, but I’m happy to say all the issues should be resolved (anything still not working as expected, let me know in the comments).
One of my new years resolutions (yes I make them) was/is to get on top of issues like this when it comes to the site. The next big thing we have planned is a site redesign (and I know I’ve been saying that for years, but it will be happening)! If there are any other niggling issues, let me know and I’ll see if we can fix them.
