Our Verdict
Same deal is available via Slickdeals rebate, up to you if you prefer Swaggbucks or Slickdeals. The $50 back on these offers is for signing up for the $8/month plan, so it should be a $42 moneymaker, or $34 moneymaker if you want to play it safe and wait for the Swagbucks to actually post before cancelling.
However, when you click through the Slickdeals or Swagbucks links, it shows an introductory rate of $1 for the first 3 months which renews at $8/month (there aren’t any other options there). It looks like signing up for the $1 plan gets you $50, resulting in a $49 moneymaker. (Update: I see incognito the $8 offer. A lot of us are seeing the $1 offer showing. I’m unsure if using the $1 offer will mess up the portal tracking.)
Note: There are conflicting data points in the comments of the other post about whether it’s easy or difficult to cancel a Sirius subscription. And, of course, bear in mind that there’s always a chance something won’t track properly with Swagbucks.

Swagbucks took away my 4k credits 3 months after I was awarded them. BEWARE. Signed up, for 4k SBs, canceled a month after. They took the credits back 3 months later. Beware guys.

Called 1-866-245-7234 to cancel. Call took less than 8 minutes, start to finish. CSR tried to talk me into upgrading. Said cancellation will be effective tomorrow, which would have been my renewal day. I didn’t care about a refund, as it would have been pennies. Said to expect a cancellation e-mail, which is apparently is not instant. Hopefully everything goes to plan, otherwise I will be calling again tomorrow.
Sounds consistent with my experience doing the 5000SB offer in April that posted 33 days after initial purchase. My offer was 6mo for $30+tax get 50k SB.
I haven’t cancelled it yet as I actually use Sirius in the summer for a few road trips but have cancelled it several times over the last five years and had a similar experience each time. They put $6 back on my card last summer when I cancelled a month early.
Cancelled via chat, had to insist on cancelling via chat, agent got a supervisor into session and he managed to do it. I’m not from CA. Also don’t forget to ask to refund remaining balance

I signed up for this deal. I just checked though and instead of being charged like I expected. It turns out I have a 3 month free trial of service, and not supposed to be charged until September. I guess that I got the free 3 month trial while signing up for this offer. I guess that’s good?

Were you able to get a pro rated refund of what you’d paid for but wouldn’t use?
I called in and had to wait on hold for 20 minutes. And yes, just ask for prorated refund and you’ll get it. I got full because I was charged only four days ago for second month
Follow up: Refund actually posted back to card (sometimes they say it’s been refunded but refund never hits)

i still have trouble to log into my account by using my email and password. I am directed to the verification account page, which asks for the zip, phone # and radio ID or Account # or VIN. I don’t have the radio ID or Account # or VIN.
Anyone can advise for how to get Account #, so that I can view my account details?
