Our Verdict
Looks like a fairly easy $15 moneymaker, plus you get $5 FanDuel credit. I’ve never done sports betting so not sure exactly how it works, but please bet responsibly or you’ll lose more than you gained. Also keep in mind that some people end up having problems either with the portal tracking or with Swagbucks deactivating their account for reasons which aren’t clear, so there’s always some risk involved.
If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.
Hat tip to SD
Update: a reader notes that Mrrebates is offering $30 for signup.
I signed up 01/09 and 2,000 swagbucks posted on 02/10/19.
I bought in $5 and got $5 credit. Played $5 and lost before the credit expired. Saving the remainder for baseball season.
No big surprise. Swagbucks did not post the 2,000 SB and I am submited a ticket yesterday.
Fanduel credit expires on Jan 25. I’m not really a sports gambler. Is there any way to salvage the $5 credit without having to bet?
I also see a $40 (40k pts) offer in Drop, under Entertainment offers. I just did it, and it showed up as “Pending” in Drop after a few minutes. (But it will take up to 70 days to actually post.) I’ll personally add that I’ve had really great tracking rates with Drop.
How much did you fund the account with when going through Drop? Drop does not say any specific amount to fund for the 40000 points offer. I just funded with $5.01 hoping Drop will credit 40000 points in 70 days without having to go through hassles.
Looks like MrRebates also has a $30 cashback offer for opening a new FanDuel account and funding it.
This morning I got a notification from the Drop App confirming my FanDuel account opening and funding for the 40000 Drop points offer. Below is the message.
Hang Tight!
Your points for FanDuel are pending, but won’t be for long. They’ll appear in your account ASAP, automatically.
I did $5, which I assume is the FanDuel minimum, and I got the same pending message as you. I’ve had really good experiences with Drop; I’ve never had a Pending payout get lost. (I’ve also had several offers successfully pay out after a few weeks with no pending notification in between.)
Thanks!
I already jumped swagbucks. Can I open another one with drop?
I received 2000 bonus for purchase on 10/6/2018, credited on 11/7. I have not yet tried to withdraw but I will update results when I do. FWIW MrRebates offers $30 cashback, but it takes forever with there 90 day wait period. I sent two referrals that way, both are still in the 90 day pending status still (purchase date of 10/19/2018). I will update when with results at or around 90 day mark.
My drop Account has an offer for 40,000 points ($40) to fund a FanDuel account. States it may take up to 70 days to post.
2000 SB show as pending, however it says I spent $0 there.
+1 same here
Same, dont do this offer. Alot of people are having issues with it.
My DP:
Disabled Adblock plus.
Signed up w/ same SB email.
Deposited $5.01.
SB show pending under Shop Actvitity w/in 2 hours
i keep getting rejected..even diff credit cards
edit:
all my amex were rejected (3 or 4, inc serve). so was a citi… chase hyatt finally went through.
“Must enter valid sign-up information, including credit card information to earn SB.” I used a prepaid virtual visa GC from swagbucks to sign up, did not track yet.
Many offers from SB do not track immediately, but some weeks or days later show up as credit. Many times, SB does properly credit the SB offer and one must submit a ticket. YMMV.
FYI, this is more than a $15 moneymaker. If all goes well, I will get my deposited $5 + the bonus $5 to my PayPal, which makes this into a $25 moneymaker. If it tracks ofc, which is not guaranteed. At all.
Not quite – FanDuel does not let you withdraw the $5 bonus. They also don’t let you withdraw your initial $5 deposit unless you jump through a bunch of hoops (i.e., try to withdraw, contact them when it fails, explain the situation, and, ultimately, ask for a “refund”).
